There are 25 states in INDIA, each having its own language and customs. There is one National Language 'HINDI' and 'ENGLISH' has become official language. Hence any Indian will be knowing atleast three languages,

  1. NATIVE LANGUAGE,
  2. HINDI and
  3. ENGLISH.

Many know more than four or five languages. The social customs and art forms also vary from state to state. The dance forms are very well known thoughout the world. The variety of food differs with the state and mostly the INDIAN food is vegetarian. Music is a part of life for the people here. Every state has its own music and nowadays the film music is very popular. Indian film industry is the biggest in the world and the number of films released per year is more than any country. Every state has its film industry and the biggest among all those is the HINDI film industry. INDIAN pop music is also gaining popularity nowadays. there are some ENGLISH pop singers and many HINDI pop singers.
