From the time she was a child, Sayana has been writing and singing. During the '70's she ran a costumiers where opportunities arose for her to perform on stage in fringe productions. But it was not until the 1980's that she finally found her niche and by 1990 she had appeared numerous times on radio and TV both in the UK and Europe. She became a much sought after compere and cabaret artiste. Singing with her jazz band 'The Jazz Connection' she cut her first album and after the band disbanded in the early '90's she formed the duo Illusions with her base player, Andy Butler, himself an accomplished multi instrumentalist.They wrote and recored over 30 songs together until their lives led them in different directions in 1996. It was duting this time that she started to develop her ability to tone - harmonic overtone singing. She has been called on to use this technique on many occasions over the years, which included opening a sound chamber in ireland.

Since then Sayana has been writing and teaching.In the mid '90's she wrote and recorded a series of personal development tapes and a book SECRET GARDEN - the Journey, which she developed into a series of personal growth workshops.

More recently she has been working on a collection of childrens videos and books and running a charity which she founded in 1991

This summer (1999) she was approached to be featured in a film 'Angels in our Midst'which will be shown on British TV in October 1999, for which she also wrote and performed some of the music, and is currently in negotiation regarding the opportunity to write the book. She was able to use her gift of toning during the film and discovered new depths to this technique

'I believe that this way of producing sound has a healing quality and that it can be used for a great deal of good. When I recorded for Angels in our Midst, the sound becomes so pure that it became inaudible to the human ear - a truly amazing experience!'

As well as being charity Director and taking an MA in education, she teached Environmental and Native American studies to children in schools in the UK to try to dispell some of the myths that have become tradition within the British way of thinking.

She lives happily in the UK with her Grand-daughter Angel, who also is a harmonic singer - at the age of 4.

She says 'Waking up to a small child singing is one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had.'
