See ya on the Web!
Jackie

Jackie was my very first internet sale, she bought a Cherry cribbage board for her friend for Christmas, shipping was tight since I started the web site on November 28, 1997, but Santa did arrive.

Sean,

I got my board today. It's beautiful.
Thanks!

Sean,

I love my cribbage board. But I donated it to the pub where I play regularly, so I need a new one. What do you have in stock? Which one weighs the most - the thing that really impressed me about the kingwood was the weight. (Plus it was really pretty.) Do you have any heavier ones?

* Rick

Rick got a Kingwood board that my wife had picked the wood out for. He turned around and donated it to his local pub where he plays cribbage. When he contacted me to get another board for himself I relayed his story to my wife. Her response when I told her was "He did WHAT!"

Just a story I get a chuckle out of.

Sean,
I received the cribbage boards today and I'm very pleased..
I look forward to hearing from you on the Birdseye maple board, but again, there is no urgency.
Thanks again
Don Hampton -

Don is a collector of boards I guess, he could not decide between the Honduran rosewood and the chechen so he just got one of each. I think the Birdseye is going to round out his collection.

Sean,
Thanks so much for the Cribbage board. I absolutely love it ! It's beautiful wood ! Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you to thank you. I kept forgetting.
I will make sure to show others, who I know, where I got it. Thanks again for your professionalism. It has been great working with you.

Gary convinced me to make him a folding Bolivian rosewood board, I am surprised he was so happy to get it, they take me forever to make.

Beautiful. That is what I can say about the board. It came out real nice. As an amateur carpenter I can see the few things that differentiate between machine made and "handmade" but they don't bother me at all. It is thrilling to see the waves in the wood as I move it back and forth under light. Your rows of holes are very accurate, better than I can do with my wobbly tools. The finish still has its "new" smell. I will show it to my friends in the next few days. Will they be jealous!!
Thanks for all the work you put into it.
Ben

Ben is from Israel and convinced me to give quilted maple a try. His board looked like a hologram of a moonscape with the depth of the curls in that wood.

Hi Sean I just wanted to let you know that we did a survey on how the guys in our league liked the boards we ordered from you last year. We asked them to rate the boards on a scale of 10 with 10 being highest. 32 of the 48 regular players returned the survey. Below are the results:
11 = 1
10 = 23
9 = 1
8 = 4
7 = 1
no response = 2

My math puts that at 75% at a perfect rating. Congratulations. I will say that the guys really liked the addition of the metal pegs.

I'm wondering if we could come up with a championship board. I'm looking at something along the lines of a regulation board that has 2 or 3 lines of lettering that indicates the league champion. Sort of a usable award rather than a plaque. Let me know what you think. If you have any prospective customers who want to ask how our league liked your tournament boards feel free to give them the email address. By the way this is a new address from the last one, both are still active for the time being,

Dear Sean:

I received my board today in excellent shape and I was delighted at how beautiful the wood was as well as the hole positioning. The pegs fit perfectly which was a real joy. We have used the new board tonight and it was a true delight. Thank you for taking the time to create such beautiful boards. I am considering ordering a folding board in the future. I will also recommend you to my friends. Please let me know when the brass pegs arrive.
Thanks again.

Makes my day just to read her note.

Mr. Murphy:

The cherry tourney board arrived today. Beautiful! Couldn't wait to play and have it admired.

Brass pegs certainly would be a nice accent. I tried some that I have with a small folding portable board and, while they looked good, they were way out of proportion to your board. Hope you get some soon. Please let me know when you do.

I Will certainly recommend you to anyone looking for a fine board at a more than reasonable price.

Jay Loughlin

I did get Jay some metal pegs so now his board is complete.

Hi, Sean!

I love the board... it's fine bit of work! Makes the Wal-Mart special I was using look ten times as cheap as before. The metal pegs definitely work better than the wooden ones, though -- they don't stick in the holes as much.

Thanks,
Benji

My appologies to Wal-Mart, but I do believe they don't make the cribbage boards that they sell.

Sean,

Consider yourself the "Official" cribbage board manufacturer of Antarctica. Thanks for throwing in the extra pegs. I appreciate that.

Thanks,
Joe

Imagine being woken up at about 2:30 AM by a phone call and hearing your wife say, "Hello", "WHERE?" "ANTARCTICA?!?!?!" "It's for you." Joe called my home from Antarctica to find out more about the cribbage boards and here I am with my cribbage boards on five of the seven continents.
