Mission-The cadet program is one of the Civil Air Patrol's three basic missions. The cadet program's mission is the "development of dynamic young Americans and aerospace leaders."

The jewel of any Civil Air Patrol unit is its Cadet Program. The cadets represent the future of our nation and are, by that right, our most important asset. The McAllen Composite Squadron lives to uphold that most important fact. The following pictures and activities demonstrate the CAP Cadet program in action.

Mission Log:

 28 Jul 1998:

      The cadets  took a field  trip to the  air operations of  the Border
Patrol where they were introduced to OH-6 and UH-1 helicopters, a C-182 and
C-210 and a  Piper Super Cub.  The following pictures  are from that event.

Aviation is a key part of being a CAP cadet. Knowledge is the key that unlocks the door of one's future!
