The Underground is a personal favourite of mine, I really enjoy coming for a beer here. The place offers the most up front dance music in the whole town with Dj's playing almost all the time it is open, instead of stale cd's offered by most places. Also it is the variation of dance music offered from drum and bass to the most chilled ambient which makes it interesting as you never really know what style your going to catch when you get in there. The resident DJ's are Free the Vibe and Risky. The Free the Vibe Dj's tend to concentrate on the old skool dance music, as in stuff from the late eighties and early nineties, whereas the Risky Dj's play the very mellow style of drum and bass, lots of lush strings and jazz licks. As well as the residents there are always guest Dj's playing, offering big-beat, hip-hop etc As for the venue, it has been decorated with a very underwater feel, there are hand painted fish on the walls which are almost brought to life with the U.V. lighting they have gone for in the place. And with the very fair priced drinks and pool table, it all makes for a very enjoyable evening out. So if your ever in the area CHECK IT OUT!!!!
