This woman from the Forum I am in tells me she is in LOVE with me!!!
Imagine my reaction. I was flattered, confused, scared..
Well anyway.. I kept talking to this woman. I was not in love with her,
but we became real good friends.
Patti was so sweet and kind and we had a great time talking. And somewhere
in June I knew she was not going to be just a friend. I was not sure how I
really felt about her.. I needed to meet her in person to know, and she wanted to meet me.
So we, or I should say she, started to plan her visit.
Finally the date was set: Aug, 11. She would spend 2 weeks here in Chicago. I was nervous..
no, I was freaking while waiting for her in the airport. Ok, the gate opens and my heart is
pounding... And I see HER:) I was too nervous to think.. I was not sure if I liked her or
not...*G* She walked to me and gave me this big HUG.. Not letting go and making people stare:)
Driving home was weird: she kept staring at me.
At home we talked and watched a movie. We kissed and after that kiss
I *knew* that I loved her. There are no words to describe how that kiss felt on my lips.
All the love and passion she had for me was in it. And as I returned that kiss I felt how
my heart goes to hers.
We spent 2 wonderful weeks together. Holding hands, taking pictures and kissing.
She left to go home and took my heart with her.
Patti is a wonderful, sweet, kind, caring, beautiful and loving woman. I can't even
think how I could live without her, without knowing she is there and one day
we will be together. Long distance is hard. Online conversations and
phone calls are a poor substitution. But it's still better than nothing.
Well, now I am in Chicago and she is in Oregon.
We don't know what life will bring but we know one thing:
WE WILL BE TOGETHER ONE DAY.
