This panel, based on Egyptian celebration scenes, depicts the Israelites celebrating their deliverance from the Egyptian army through the Red Sea. Above them is the right hand of God inscribed with the Hebrew word for "I AM". The vertical text (also in Hebrew) is verse 2 of Exodus 15, which reads: "The Lord is my strength and my song; He ahas become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father's God, and I will exalt Him."(Exodus 15:2)
