I recently purchased a Nikon Cool Pix 900 Digital Camera and have to confess that I am more than pleased with it. I have made the transition from an Olympus D320L and the difference between the two cameras is startling. The Nikon has the most amazing pictures I have seen from a sub $1000 camera and the clarity/sharpness is to be seen to be believed. Earlier, I was debating whether to go in for a Kodak DC 260 or the Nikon but after seeing the various sample images posted from both the cameras on the web, the decision was easy to make and I got myself a Nikon CP900. Also purchased a Hitachi 45MB Compact Flash Card (works really fast and have had no problems with it at all) and some VARTA NiMh rechargeables (really long life).
