I didn't know her, but hearing her story, how she took a stand for truth when she was in peril of her very life, has inspired me and moved me very deeply If you haven't heard by now, she was one of the victims in the senseless massacre at Columbine High School in Littleton CO.. Though that was one of the darkest days in America's history, a great light is still shining through the testimony of this faithful young servant of Jesus Christ. She now beholds His face...... For whoever seeks to save his life shall lose it; but whosoever loses his life for my sake shall find it... -Jesus
Christ- persecution we call it when they laugh they point they whisper.... We call it "suffering". we call it "trials". she was hiding under a table like the rest... the confusion, the shots the whole thing was insane so she hid. they were all hiding... then as abruptly as a hammer hits a nail the door opened "that thou doest, do quickly" sop takers kiss was a question the question they ask us everyday "Anyone here believe in God?" she could have stayed, you know? could have hid it under a bushel that dear precious light she could have gained the whole world could have "made something of herself" "but I must decrease" she understood. not so much as a rustle was heard til she stood...... and she's shining like fire in my mind's eye..... and out of her mouth faster than the bullet's reply yes, I believe in God.... |
