L. Frank Manriquez is from the Tongva/Ajachmem tribes.  She serves on the Board of
Directors for the California Indian Basketweavers Association.   Her works have been
exhibited at museums and galleries throughout the country.

Many of her images incorporate "Coyote" as the main character.

She has tattooes on her face and neck in the tradition of her ancestors.
