            The largest planet known is Jupiter. This planet is ten times as big as the earth. Like most planets, Jupiter seems to have no water or oxygen. But this planet may have some gases which are poisonous.
            Jupiter has a red spot. This spot moves each year. There are also light lines and dark lines. These lines also move. It is not known what the spot and lines are. However, it is thought that the lines are made up of gases.
            Jupiter has 16 moons. Period of revolution: 11.86 years. Period of rotation: 9 hr, 50 min, 30 sec. Main components of atmosphere: hydrogen, helium. Temperatures: Day -145°C; Night -145°C
