TO THE LEADERS

YOU

Are the most important person in the development of the young person in Scouting.

The quality of Scouting a young person receives depends upon the Scouter he has.

As the Group succeeds, so our whole Movement succeeds.

The Scouter's Enthusiasm, Energy and Personal Example are the examples the young person will seek to exemplify.

As a leader it will cost you a great deal of time and patience - and perhaps a dollar or two.

In return you will gain countless friends, the spirit of eternal youth, the satisfaction that you have played a part in developing the future of Jamaica's youth.

Aristotle wrote: "No man goeth about a more godly purpose than he who is mindful of the right upbringing not only of his own, but of the other man's children."
