Hey, can i sing ya'll a lil' tune, eh?

At the age of 10, I began violin lessons through an extended music program in public school and also began taking organ lessons. I used to make up songs and loudly sang harmonies to music playing on the radio, to the point of probably driving my poor distracted parents crazy. By 12, I was taking ballet, tap and jazz dance lessons and sang in church and school choirs, often recognized for having a strong voice by singing solos. Within the last few years, I've also taken piano and guitar lessons and learned how to play both electric and accoustic guitars, as well as many other instruments. I began to volunteer time as an entertainer in local folk festivals and public libraries as well as bringing my guitar into every possible classroom.

I guess it was meeting Kevin B. and his friend Joe McC that finally pushed me in the direction I'd always dreamed. I had started to record some original material in a local studio but didn't feel like it was going anywhere ... and then I was lucky enough to meet a group of extremely talented musicians who gave their friendship and time. The three of us have become friends.

ICY BRIDGE has now released their debut CD entitled "Walk You To The Light" which arrived in stores in July 1997 and can be heard on radio stations across Canada and we have begun writing and recording our next CD project.

I've been playing 2 nights a week at a local coffeehouse in Hillsdale, Ontario and I also have been playing at a couple of bars in Barrie, Ontario over the past few months; I've met a lot of talented people and have had a great time entertaining audiences and jamming with lots of new people. Of course, the best time is usually when I'm playing with my 2 music buds, Kev & Joe.
