Welcome to my new Homepage. Please come back as I am working on it until I'm happy with it. I am a quilter with some pictures of the quilts I've made.

Also, I am the doll's dressmaker. The doll dress on the left shows a sample of some of the types of dresses I make.

Most of my five children have quilts. My youngest son went into the Air Force. No personal quilts were allowed when he first went in, so he left his in Florida. Now, after "graduating" in the top 5, he is ready to have his own quilt back...but would rather Mom makes a new one...So, of course it will take a few days to accomplish that feat. LOL In the meantime, I'm working full time in Spokane, commuting an hour each way. And when I should be quilting or sewing...here I am working on my home page...

The following quilt is one that I started with just the center panel and had an idea of what I wanted for a quilt for my daughter. At that time I was living in Cocolalla, Id and my younger kids were raising sheep for their 4H project. I bought a carder and washed and carded the wool (virgin) when they sheared the lambs. I then took all the little square batts to put in the quilt. Talk about a "made from scratch" quilt. My oldest daughter lives in Florida, so when I told her I was making a quilt with wool for her, she thought I was completely nuts. Of course, she didn't understand the wool was on the inside.
