Welcome to the online home of the Kenowa Hills HS Marching Knights
Drumline, located in Grand Rapids, MI. We have just completed
our 1999 Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association (MSBOA)
marching season. We'll fill you in on what's going on now,
and what we've been up to in the past.
This season, the
KH drumline consists of 3 snares, 2 tenors, and 5 basses.
The pit is made up of 8 percussionists (mallets and auxiliary). Instructors for
1999 are Landon Ewers (snares/tenors), Chris Bookie (general/basses), and
Daica Randall (pit).
The drumline won 4 caption awards in the 1997 season in competetion,
recieving for the first time in over 10 years a caption award in the best
percussion category and earning the respect of other area drumlines.
In the 1999 marching season, we won 3 best percussion caption awards.
