Life's Map

Two roads, diverged
On this astral plain
Funny how I've travled both
Yet it seems I'm stuck in a dream
Of yellow woods
With choleric trees
And dirt strewn with pebbles
That hide boulders
And it is my voice
Screaming from a speaker
In the corner
Hiding subliminal intentions
Of roads and paths
My kick reveals
The world- a plain
Wide open space
Roads are a myth
Roads are what I leave behind
When I walk
From where I've been
Toward where I'm going
