Wrote project charter and supervised the rollout of Tivoli solution to 18 bank branches in St.Petersburg 1100 workstations, IBM, Sun, HP enterprise servers. Key deliverables included anti-virus protection, Windows updates and patch management, software distribution for core, retail and back-office banking software, remote control, inventory and configuration management.

March 2004 – July 2005: SAN implementation
Established goals, supervised the implementation of $0,7M SAN solution – IBM/Brocade SAN switches, IBM/Sun/HP servers, IBM Storage systems, 4Tb. Key deliverables: storage at 3 datacenters are connected via fiber-optical ring, production database backup takes 6 times less.

July 2004 - March 2005: 3DES migration
Supervised the implementation of 3DES solution using ACI TSS. Migrated to TSS/3DES the network of 550 ATMs. Met the Visa/MasterCard deadlines for the migration.

July 2004 – February 2005: Migration to IBM p690 AIX/Oracle 9i
Wrote project charter, negotiated with vendors and top management, supervised the $2M migration of core banking system from Sun to IBM p690 AIX/Oracle 9i platform. Key deliverable: roll out of online core banking system to 18 bank branches in St.Petersburg, 1100 online users.

November 2003 - October 2004: M-Commerce: Pre-paid cards
Supervised the customization of ACI Mobile commerce products to sell pre-paid (scratch) cards via ATMs. Managed contracts. Kept project on schedule despite the tight resource constraints.

January 2004 - October 2004: SMS-info: bankcards mobile service
Supervised the implementation of SMS-based mobile services for cardholders to control the card accounts, including balance requests, withdrawal confirmations and card expiry alerts.

July 2003 - June 2004: EMV VSDC POS Acquiring
Provided the Visa VSDC cards acquiring (full option) on POS terminals - Ingenico, SPDH. Managed 3rd party development. Mitigated risks.

November 2003 - April 2004: Tivoli pilot project
Supervised the pilot Tivoli implementation for enterprise servers monitoring, workstations software distribution and inventory management.

January 2003 - September 2003: BASE24 migration
Built a migration team, migrated the world-leading authorization system BASE24 to version 6 to provide new functionality for 450,000+ cardholders. Procured data conversion software. Managed 3rd party services. Migrated with just 4 hours of downtime.

November 2001 - September 2003: E-payments system reengineering

August 2003: ABM/POS pilot network in Urals region
Following the acquisition of a large bank in highly competitive Urals region, ICB needed to roll-out the ABM/POS pilot network by August 25. Delivered on time the 10-node network accepting major cards Visa/American Express/Diners Club/MasterCard.

December 2002 - July 2003: New Data Center for core banking operations
Implemented $2M Data Center (Sun 6800, HP Linux Cluster, Oracle 9i RAC/8i, IBM ESS) for processing operations of 45 branches. Established configuration management process.

July 2002 - March 2003: Bankcard fraud detection system
According to the urgent business request, in 2 months delivered fraud monitoring solution (Takl, Oracle 8i) extracting merchant trading data from BASE24. Enhanced the functionality by implementing ai Corporation's RiskNet Acquirer Core and Alert modules.

July 2002 - August 2002: ISIC Visa Electron issuing
In just 2 months adopted bank's systems, started issuing Visa card for students.

October 2001 - May 2002: ABM/ATM mobile phone top-up services
Developed, rolled out mobile top-up services for a network of 300+ ABMs.

August 1999 - October 2001: New Athene - core banking system modernization
Planned and coordinated efforts of 28 associated technical group members. Evaluated solutions, designed IT architecture for BackOffice operations. Negotiated with suppliers and customers.
