This site is under construction to meet your
needs and my needs for used and antique, paperbacks and
hardcovers, children's and adults', students', instructors', and
everybody else's book needs. Included will be magazines, old
appliance manuals and whatever strikes my fancy and yours. You
will still see some of my crafts (they are a hobby I can't give
up) but this time they will be related to the book material.
MEDICAL UPDATE: June 2001and I'm still hanging in there! Medication is holding and blood tests have been pretty stable. The quiet of the Eastern Shore of Maryland has been good for both my husband and me..
A little educational information is in order now: Auto Immune Hepatitis is a disease that may be caused by stress, exposure to toxins or heredity (my Grandmom had Multiple Sclerosis). The word hepatitis means scarring of the liver and the organ loses its ability to function in a normal fashion. An immune system can be too strong and attack its own body. My diagnosis was found in a routine check-up - simply a small red mark on my neck and an observant doctor! Very scary! Check out the American Liver Foundation and please consider being an organ donor.
