Our hunting lodge is located on an oil road one mile north of Wessington Springs, South Dakota. There is thousands of acres of private land for pheasant hunting.

We are able to house groups ranging from 1 to 20 hunters. We will provide transportation to the hunt or you can drive your own vehicle to the site.

Please call early for available dates and reservations, as the lodge will be filling up fast. To secure your hunting date, $100 deposit will be required upon booking. The deposit will be applied to the cost of your stay.

The goal of Shottenkirk Lodge is to provide a great pheasant hunt at an affordable price. The lodge is owned and operated by Heath and Christina Shottenkirk. All of the staff working at the lodge is family or family-oriented.

We also would like to provide a place where people can meet others from around the country and form possible life-long friendships.

Because of our location, one mile from town, you will find it convenient to attend to personal needs, such as fuel and food. There is a local grocery store, two convenience stores, two cafes, and two lounges. You will also find that the local locker is available to process your birds if needed.
