Thought For Today

25-Jan-2004

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my father.

John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Do you believe in Jesus? Do you believe that he is who the bible says he is? Do you believe that he did all those things written about in the bible? Do you believe he raised the dead? Do you believe he opened the eye's of the blind? Do you believe he made the deaf to hear? Do you believe he made the cripples whole again? If you believe that Jesus was the son of God just as the bible says he was, then you must believe that he did all those things the bible said he did! Now, if you believe he did all the bible said he did, then you must believe that when he said: "He that believeth on me, the works that I do, shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." If you believe this, then don't you believe that you and I (Through God) have the same power that Jesus had when he walked the earth?

Do you believe that you and I (Through God) could raise the dead? Do you believe that you and I (Through God) could open the eye's of the blind? Do you believe that you and I (Through God) could make the deaf to hear? Do you believe that you and I (Through God) could make the cripples whole again? If you believe the word of God then you would have to believe this?

IT IS WRITTEN: Read the scriptures! I didn't write them, I like you only read them and try daily to live by them. Many people make fun of the children of God when they see them on television laying hands on others and healing them, they think it is an act. I am sure that some people are putting on an act just to make money, but thoses people will answer to God one day! But, there are some that are not putting on an act!

I personally have witnessed God's healing power, I saw with my own eye's a broken foot healed, I watched as the blackish, blue color disappeared, I watched as the swelling went down, I watched as the person with the broken foot jumped up and down on that same foot, when only minutes before it was black-purple, and swollen to three times it's normal size! I was involved in this, I know it wasn't an act!

The Lord said: " And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." We asked God to heal this person's foot, and we believed as we ask, and God did just as his word said he would, he healed the foot, totally, completely, within minutes, and without any evidence that it was ever broken!! I have told several people about this miracle I witnessed because I wanted to make sure that God got the glory, because the bible says: " And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."

John 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If you believe as you ask, then expect it to come to pass.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

However there is a catch to witnessing God's miracles, and John 14:15 is the catch!! God's miracles does not come without belief, they will not happen without faith, you must believe God's word, and strive daily to live by it, not live perfectly, because none of us are perfect, but we need to try our best to be as Jesus was when he walked on the earth in the flesh. If you believe in God, truly believe, then everything else will come unto you!
