Thought For Today

31-Jan-2004

Micah 7:7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

Micah 7:8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.

Never stop talking to God! If you believe in God, then he will hear you when you talk, he will answer you if an answer is required. Sometimes we need to wait for God to answer us, or to answer a prayer, but the main thing is to never stop believing that God hears you! When you ask God for something, or for an answer to a question, he hears you the first time you speak it. But, you need to keep thanking God every time you talk to him for the manifestation, or answer to what you spoke of to start with. The bible says in Micah 7:7 my God will hear me. Believe it because it is true.

When you fight a battle, be it physical, or spiritual, the enemy will do his best to rejoice against you. He will rejoice in an attempt to make you think he has won, DO NOT Believe this!!

In Micah 7:8 the bible says: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.

When you are doing battle against the enemy, and you feel weak, or defeated, you may think why go on, why bother, is it worth all of this? This is the enemy rejoicing against you, because the enemy rejoices in your despair, your defeat, your depression, and in any thing bad in your life! Never forget that: when you fall, you shall arise; when you sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light unto you.

Rely upon the Lord for your victory against the enemy, for God will raise you up if you ONLY BELIEVE, the LORD will be your light.

In your worse trials, and in your worse battles you need to praise God, and thank him for the victory, because througfh him you will obtain the victory!! And, when the victory comes, do not pride yourself in it, it wasn't you, but give the glory unto the Lord for without him you would not have been the victor.
