I John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

When we have love for worldly things then we cannot have the love of God in us. It is ok to desire things such as a new car, or nice home. After all we are human, and we want to be as comfortable as possible. But we can't love things of the world. However we must first seek the kingdom of God, and then everything else will be given unto us, this includes that car, and nice home. But first we have to seek God, and believe what his word says, God must come first in all things. We cannot love the things of this world, to love the things of this world is to make them a God, or an idol, and this in turn would make you an idol worshipper, and an idol worshipper cannot have the love of the Father in him. So seek first the kingdom of God, and all else will be given unto you.

Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Always do what is right, seek God for answers to problems and situations. God will provide the answers in such a way that his love will show through you if you allow God's love to rule your life. Always know the mercy of God is suffecient for any battle we encounter, any shortfall we may have cannot bring us down if we just believe in God's mercy. Ask God to allow his mercy to show through you, and you will show mercy to others.

Hebrews 13:1 Let brotherly love continue.

We must allow brotherly love to be a part of our everyday life, it has to continue if we expect to obtain eternal life in heaven. Do nothing to harm anyone. Speak bad of no one. We don't have to like what some brothers and sisters in the church do, but we do have to show brotherly love toward them. We have to let brotherly love continue. If you can't say something good about somebody, don't say nothing at all.

Titus 2:4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children.

The older women in the body of Christ (Church) are to teach the younger women how to be good wives and mothers. They in no way should say things to tear down a husband, or a child of a younger woman. The older women are to lift up, they are to teach the younger women in words and deeds, and good godly advice how to be a good wife and mother. To do otherwise is to go against the word of God.

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

God will chastise the ones that love him, because he also loves them. If we love God and do our best to do as he commands, then he will chastise us to keep us from going astray. A true child of God has been chastised by God at one time or another! When you do something you know is wrong, and that feeling of guilt becomes so strong on you that you feel like you are going to fall down from the weight of it! You can't concentrate, or do anything until you truly ask God to forgive you for the wrong you have done, that is God chastising you. If you see someone doing a wrong toward God, or one of his commandments, and they continue to do this wrong over and over, and it seems that it doesn't bother them. Their hearts have become hardened, and they have lost that true love of God, because they no longer fear the fact that they are going against the commandments of God. These people need to repent and ask God to forgive them so they can be sure they will see the kingdom of God.

Luke 7:41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.

Luke 7:42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both, Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

Luke 7:43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most, and he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

When we ask God into our hearts, and lives, he forgives us our debts! Our debts are the many trespasses and transgressions we have committed against him and his commandments! Every sin we have committed is a debt unto the Lord. Some owe much because they have sinned much, some owe less because they have sinned less. But, every human alive owes God a debt of sin, and unless we ask forgiveness of these debts daily the debt will not be forgiven! In Luke 7:42 The debtors had nothing to pay, they couldn't pay their debts. Just as we can in no way pay the debt we owe to God, we cannot cleanse ourselves of the many sins we have committed, and the sins we commit daily, the only way to be forgiven of these debts of sin is to ask God to forgive us, and God will forgive us the debts! God will forgive the one with many sins, just as he will forgive the one with few sins. Luke 7:43 Says that the one who is forgiven the most is the one who loves the forgiver the most! Someone who has many sins to be forgiven will love God more than the one who has less sins to be forgiven! Only you know your sins that God has forgiven. Many people would lay their life down for the Lord without even thinking about it. These are the ones that God has forgiven great debts (Sins). Others would lay their life down for God after thinking about it. These are the ones that God has forgiven less debts (Sins). Others would not lay their life down for God. These are the ones that God has forgiven very few debts (Sins). This is not my personal way of thinking, this is the word of God. Read the three verses again, forgiven much love much, forgiven less love less! I believe that each and every one of us who ask forgiveness will recieve it, and when we walk in the ways of God we will recieve the promises of God. However human nature will always come into play as long as we live in these fleshly bodies, and human nature is that we love those, or care more for those that do the most for us!! Jesus said this himself when he said in Luke 7:43 Thou hast rightly judged.

Proverbs 3:1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

Proverbs 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

Proverbs 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

The commandments of God is his law. We need to get it deep down in our hearts that we are to obey his law (commandments) no matter what! God said: "forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:" God does not operate like our justice system. God don't have angel police to ensure we obey his law, No, he knows himself when we break his law, he knows each and every time we break his law. Our fine for breaking his law is to tell God we are sorry, and ask him to forgive us for our trespass against his law. "Proverbs 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee." Proverbs 3:2 tells us what we are rewarded for obeying God's laws. God said if we obey his laws we will be given more days to live making our lives longer, and those days will be peaceful days! God has the power over the length of our lives. Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: We are to always keep mercy and truth in our lives. Any time we come upon a situation where we can show mercy to someone then God requires us to do just that, we need to be merciful to everyone, and not only merciful but truthful, we are required to speak the truth. We should allow our mercy, and the truth to show through word, and deed. To speak of mercy and truth is easy, to show mercy and truth takes the love of God. "bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:" This part of Proverbs 3:3 is telling us to always keep mercy and truth close to our hearts, and to keep them with us always. We are not to allow mercy and truth to come and go in our lives. We are to keep that mercy and truth with us for anyone that needs it, not just certain people, but everyone! Proverbs 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. This verse tells us that if we show mercy and truth to everyone, then we will find favour and understanding from people, and from God.

Malachi 3:7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of host. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Malachi 3:9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, If I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to recieve it.

Tithes and offerings!! People have different opinions about tithes and offerings! Some people believe that you should give all your tithes and offerings to the church that you attend. Some think you should give your tithes and offerings to the needy. Some don't even believe in paying tithes and offerings. I for one believe in paying tithes and offerings. I am not telling you to pay tithes and offerings that is your choice. I am not telling you how to pay your tithes and offerings, that is your choice also. What I am saying is that God said we are to pay tithes and offerings!

Malachi 3:7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of host. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? This verse is telling me that man has always had a greedy spirit! And God is letting man know he has a greedy spirit, having money is not a sin, but we read in: Titus 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. According to God's word man has had a greedy spirit for a long time.

Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. This is God speaking to Malachi, God himself said man robbed God! Many will say God owns all things he don't need my pittly little bit of money! I need it worse than God does! This is true, God does own all things, and he don't need your pittly little bit of money, But, you have to have enough faith in God to give him your pittly little bit of money, and when you do then God will increase your earnings, you will recieve more than you give! Your faith will bring blessings to you. If no one paid tithes and offerings, who would pay the bills at the church you attend, how would the pastor eat, how would the pastor get around if he had no money to buy a car, or gas to put in a car? Think about it! Your church that you attend would not last long if no one paid the bills. Is it fair for some to pay the way of others who have the means to pay their own way? If you and your neighbor made the same amout of money, would it be fair for you if you were expected to buy your neighbors food for them, or perhaps pay their car payment, or their electrict bill, or buy them a new living room suite! No, that would not be fair, yet many expect the others in the congregation to furnish electricity for the lights, the heating, the air conditioning, ect. in the church. They expect others to furnish padded pews to sit in, carepet on the floor, paneling or paint to make the church building look good! When you do not pay your tithes as God has COMMANDED you are robbing from God, and you are taking advantage of the other members of the congregation because they need to make up your slack! If the slack is not made up then the entire congregation suffers.

Malachi 3:9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Look back and read that one again!! This is the word of God! Not man's word but God's word! It's simple, rob God be cursed! If you do not pay tithes you need to think about that. God could not make it any plainer, ROB GOD BE CURSED!

Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, If I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to recieve it. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse! Where is the storehouse? that there may be meat in mine house, where is God's house? and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, do as God commands, and see if he does as he says he will! If I will not open the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there should not be room enough to recieve it. God said he would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there would not be room enough to recieve it! God cannot lie, prove God now, or "see if what he says is not true" Do as God commands, and God will do as he promises!

I know there are many that don't have much to pay as tithes. However, God said pay 10% in tithes, and 10 % is what he meant! If you make a dollar put a dime in as tithes, if you make a dime put a penny in as tithes! God said pay your 10% no matter what it is.

Mark 12:42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which made a farthing.

Mark 12:43 And he called unto his disciples and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury;

Mark 12:44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living. I believe we need to pay tithes on every bit of money we recieve, no matter where it comes from. I believe in paying tithes, I believe that if we don't pay tithes then we are robbing from God! Offerings are not tithes! Offerings are what you want to give above your tithes. Tithes is what God requires we give, offerings is extra because we want to give into the kingdom of God!

Give unto the kingdom of God, and it will be given unto, you!

Matthew Chapter 27 tells about what Jesus did for us.

Mark Chapter 15 tells about what Jesus did for us.

Luke Chapter 23 tells about what Jesus did for us.

I suggest you read those three chapters in your bible. If you don't have a bible, click on the link below and you will be taken to a website that has the Holy Bible on-line and you can read them there. If the URL don't come through as a link then type it into your browser and click on go. If you don't want to do that let me know and I will e-mail you the three chapters in an e-mail. If you need them in large print let me know I will enlarge the print before e-mailing. The point is you need to read these three chapters.

Holy Bible On-line

Several of the people who recieve the thought for today, and several who do the bible studies wanted to hear my opinion on Mel Gibson's movie, Passion of the Christ. If you have saw the movie I suggest you read the chapters above, if you haven't saw the movie but you plan to, you need to read the three chapters mentioned above before seeing it. If you haven't saw it, and don't plan on going to see it I suggest you change your mind and go.

The movie is in aramic (Don't know if I spelled that right) the language spoken by Jesus when he walked the earth. There are english sub-titles at the bottom of the screen, but there is not as much talking in the movie as I expected. A picture speaks louder than a thousand words anyway, and this is definately true for this movie.

I have read about Jesus being accused, scourged or chastised, and then having to bear the weight of his crucificition cross as he walked to Calvary's Hill, to be crucified. Have you ever been accused of something you didn't do? Remember the frustration, and aggrevation of not being believed when you attempted to defend yourself, but no one would listen. Jesus knew he was going to be found guilty, and he knew he was going to die for things he did not do, he knew he was going to die for the things we have done, he knew he was going to die for every sin committed by every human that believed and gave their heart to God from that day until the day he comes back for his church. Jesus said nothing to defend himself.

I strongly reccomend the movie to everyone. If you have young children that have been attending church and they have heard what Jesus did for us, and how he died, then they would most likely understand the movie, and it may do them some good to see it, that would be the decision of the parents. The movie is graphic during the scourging scene, and the crucifiction scene. There is a lot of blood, and the treatment Jesus recieves from the soldiers, and most of the people is very barbaric, and extremely cruel.

As I said I have read about Jesus being accused, chastised, and crucified. I have imagined what he must have went through as all of this was happening to him. A lot of people say: well, he was Christ, he was God in the flesh, yes he was! The key word there is flesh! He was human, he felt pain, he felt rejection, he felt hatered, he felt betrayed, he felt loneliness, he felt every feeling we have. The only difference is he felt all those feelings not only for himself, but for us too! The pain he must have endured had to be horrible. The cat of ninetails shredded his flesh, and left long gashing wounds everytime they hit him, all thirty nine times! According to my math that would be 351 gashes. The cat of ninetails had 9 tails, and he was hit 39 times, so that would be 351 times the cat of ninetails dug into his flesh leaving gaping wounds! To think about someone going through that is tough, but to see it brings it to reality. The crown of thorns was not a little raspberry vine, no it was a crown of thorns. I don't know the length of the thorns that was actually pushed down in Jesus' head, but if the movie was even close then it was very painful. The crown of thorns in the movie had 2 inch thorns on it, and they used sticks to force it down in his scalp, very graphic again. I believe the pain would have been unbearable for most people. Then he was forced to carry the heavy wooden cross on his back which they had shredded with the cat of nine tails, think about that. Those gashes all over his back with the nerves exposed and the weight of that cross pushing, and sliding, and moving across his back! I can't even imagine what he went through. Then he was nailed to the cross, think about that. Nails drove through his hands and feet. Have you ever hung a picture, have you ever nailed a skin to the barn wall to dry or seen it done, have you ever nailed boards together, consider being nailed to a tree, Jesus was. I am sure crucificition is one of the most horrible ways to die man could ever come up with. But, Jesus was more than crucified, he was beaten beyond recognition before he was nailed to the tree, he was belittled, spit on, humiliated, beat with reeds, slapped, kicked, punched, the pain and punishment he endured was for us, he didn't have to do it! He could have called a legion of angels at anytime to destroy the ones that were treating him that way, but he chose not to, he chose to suffer untold agony so that we wouldn't have to if we chose not to! If you don't know God, consider a change in your life, because hell will be worse than what Jesus suffered, and it will be forever.

Watch the movie, and as you do remember this really happened. Remember God is real! Jesus is real! Hell is real!

I Thessalonians 1:1 FURTHERMORE then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have recieved of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

My interpretation of this verse is:

I Thessalonians 1:1 We earnestly ask you, brothers, and strongly ask you, or warn you by the Lord Jesus, that you have heard from us as how you should act to please God, in order for you to become prosperous, or well supplied.

I Thessalonians 1:2 For ye know what commandments we gave ye by the Lord Jesus.

My interpretation of this verse is:

I Thessalonians 1:2 You know what the commandments are that we gave you According to the Lord Jesus.

I Thessalonians 1:3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

My interpretation of this verse is:

I Thessalonians 1:3 This is what God wants, at the same moment of your sacred oath and from then on you should refraim from sex with anyone other than your spouse.

I Thessalonians 1:4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessell in sanctification and honour;

My interpretation of this verse is:

I Thessalonians 1:4 Every one of you should know how to control your body in the flesh after giving your sacred oath to uphold high moral standards, and excellence in behavior.

I Thessalonians 1:5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

My interpretation of this verse is:

I Thessalonians 1:5 You should not lust after a desire for sexual intimacy such as the non-Jewish peoples of the world.

And now all 5 verses together says:

King James Version:

FURTHERMORE then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have recieved of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. For ye know what commandments we gave ye by the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessell in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:

My interpretation :

We earnestly ask you, brothers, and strongly ask you, or warn you by the Lord Jesus, that you have heard from us as how you should act to please God, in order for you to become prosperous, or well supplied. You know what the commandments are that we gave you According to the Lord Jesus. This is what God wants, at the same moment of your sacred oath and from then on you should refraim from sex with anyone other than your spouse. Every one of you should know how to control your body in the flesh after giving your sacred oath to uphold high moral standards, and excellence in behavior. You should not lust after a desire for sexual intimacy such as the non-Jewish peoples of the world.

Often times the word fornication is used in a symbolical than in it's ordinary sense. It frequently means a forsaking of God, or a following after false idols. However in these verses it is used in the meaning of sexual intercourse between partners who are not married to each other.

Once you know the meaning of some of the words used in the Holy Bible {King Jmaes Version} the meaning of the scriptures become much clearer, and a lot easier to understand. To understand the Holy Bible you really do need a dictionary. If you do not have a dictionary here is a link to one on-line:

II Corinthians 4:1 THEREFORE seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

II Corinthians 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

The Apostle Paul was speaking here to the church at Corinth using himself and Timothy as an example. Every person that gives their heart to God and begins a new life, also recieves a ministry for the Lord. That's right, every true christian has a ministry for God. Every christian is called into the ministry of witnessing. Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON HIM SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED. When we are proud of something, or someone we talk about it! If your son or daughter made the dean's list at college you would tell people about it, you would be a witness for their achievement! The same is true with God, we should be proud of our God and we all should be a witness for his great achievements!! (as we have recieved mercy) For when we recieve Christ into our lives we recieve mercy from God the Father, because he mercifully forgives us our trespasses, and transgressions, our sins are washed away never to be remembered! (we faint not;) We should stand in the word of God not allowing the problems of the world, or the troubles of our daily lives to cause us to stray from the word. We are not to compromise the word of God for any reason, we are to faint not!

In II Corinthians 4:2 Paul is uplifting an honest, and good lifestyle. (But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty,) We are to not have any dealings with any form of dishonesty, if something is not truthful, or honest, if there is any reason for hiding something from others then there is something dishonest about it! If you are doing something that you don't want your brother's and sister's in Christ to know about because you feel it is wrong, guess what, it is wrong! You are being dishonest! (not walking in craftiness,) Do not be sneaky, or underhanded about anything, do not attempt to deceive others, be open and honest. (nor handling the word of God deceitfully;) Do not use the word of God to deceive anyone, speak the truth of the word, don't twist the word of God around to make it say what you want it to say, many can be deceived by those that use the word deceitfully! If you are not sure what a scripture means, ask God to reveal it to you, he will when you need to know what it means. Don't guess, your guess may be wrong and then you could possibly deceive someone with the word of God! If it's a matter of not understanding the meaning of the words get a dictionary, don't guess, or assume about the meaning. ( but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.) By the reality, or understanding of the truth we reccomend, or qualify ourselves to every man's knowledge of right and wrong in the sight of God. This is to say that we should do as the scriptures above say to do, and that we should know we are right about our ministry, there should be no question as to it being right or wrong. If what you are doing is helping others, or producing fruit so to say in the kingdom of God then your ministry is ordained of God and it will prosper. However if your ministry is barren, or is not helping, or producing positive results then it is man-made and you need to get in touch with God about what your ministry is to be! God will tell you if you really want to know. But, remember each of us has a ministry to witness for God, and some have many ministries to perform for God. The more faithful you are to what God asks you to do, the more he will use you to further his kingdom!

Thought For Today

12-Mar-2004

Todays thought is a bit longer than usual. For those who do the monthly bible studies, or the New Testament Only bible study they have already read this. This is the cover sheet for the March 2004 Bible Study NTO. At the bottom I am going to include some scriptures that I think are appropriate for this thought for today, and also some more of what I think!

March Bible Study 2004 NTO Cover Sheet

Revelation 21:1 AND I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

My heart is heavy for the youth in this corrupt world we live in! The youth of this world is fighting daily the powers of the enemy, and many are losing the battle! You know the older peoples of the world are suppose to guide the young people in the right direction! Many of the older people have gotten their sense of right and wrong confused, and they are leading the young in the wrong direction! I know that all of us make mistakes with the youth in our lives, we do this because we are human, but if we are christians we should allow God to lead us in every situation. When we realize we have made a mistake concerning our young adults and youth we need to do whatever is needed to make it right again. We should lay the pride aside and get going in the right direction again. I look around me and see children that have been cast aside because their parents are too caught up in their drugs, or alcohol to care for them. The children get in their way, so they shove them off on relatives, or friends, or anyone who will take them for a little awhile, or longer in some cases. God have mercy on those that cast aside their little ones for their own earthly lusts!

Look around you youth, look around you young adults, this is the world we are giving you to live in! We have allowed it to become a corrupt and Godless place, and now we leave it to you! Our God is being removed from our government, God is no longer allowed in our schools, what is this telling our young adults and youth?? The Ten Commandments offend people so we can't have them in public government buildings, what is this telling our young adults and youth?? State governments are allowing women to marry women and men to marry men and this is an abomination of God, but yet our leaders are allowing it, what is this telling our young adults and youth?? Millions of unborn babies are being MURDERED every year in this great nation called the United States of America and the government says it's OK, what is this telling out young adults and youth?? Parents are told if you whip your child it is child abuse and your child can be taken away from you if it's reported and proven, yet, the schools are giving away free condoms, and birth control pills, what is this telling our young adults and youth?? From what I understand, drugs, alcohol abuse, homosexuality, immoral acts, ungodly language, and perverted speech and gestures have become an everyday occurance in our public schools and nothing is being done about it, what is this telling our young adults and youth?? What have we allowed to happen to our society?? What are we giving to our children?? What are we teaching our young adults?? How can we stand idly by and let our children, and grandchildren face what's coming without even a protest on our part?? My God what have we done, what have we allowed to happen, what can we do to stop this corruption that we have allowed to overcome our society?? Is it too late to fix it?? We have allowed our country to become Sodom and Gomorah!! My God have mercy on us, My God I am so, so sorry!! Forgive me Lord for my part in allowing this to happen!! Forgive me Lord! I apologize to the young adults, and youth in this our United States of America, I am so, sorry for doing this to you! I am so sorry for leaving this mess for you to deal with! If we had only spoken up sooner maybe you would'nt have to face this horrible ungodly society, but we sat by and allowed the enemy to gain control of our nation, and now look!!

I don't know what else to say to the young adults and youth except look to God, keep your eye's upon the Lord. Read his word daily, do not allow the ungodly youth of this nation to steer you from your destiny with God. But, instead, try to steer them to the Lord. They don't hate God, they have simply never met him! They don't hate you, they just don't understand how someone could be happy in todays world, they just need to meet Jesus! Remember, until they give their heart to God they will not understand you, they will not understand the way you think, the way you talk, the way you live, the reason you are happy, the reason you love others, they have to know God to understand these things about you!! Don't be discouraged by their remarks, or their actions, or gestures! Remember, they are being guided by the enemy, and your mission as a child of God is to win them over to God! Will they laugh at you when you talk to them about God, Yes! Will they call you names when you talk to them about God, Yes! Will they curse, and blasphemy the Lord when you talk to them about God, Yes! Will they make fun of you because you love God, Yes! Will they become like you and love God when they give their heart to God, Yes! Pray daily young adults and youth! Don't allow the enemy to fool you, discourage you, or trick you into falling away from God, BECAUSE where you spend eternity (FOREVER) is at stake!! Hold fast to your belief, do not weaken in your faith, believe the word of God and live it no matter what!! Perhaps you can fix this mess we have allowed to overcome our society. But, I don't think so, I believe this is the end days, I believe the bible is soon to be fulfilled, I believe you are the Joshua Generation, I believe Jesus will return for his church soon, I believe you are the generation that will be crossing over, I believe you are the last generation that will be living on this old earth!

Revelation 21:1 AND I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

I could go on with scriptures from the word of God warning us about what is about to happen. Read II Peter Chapter 2. If I have made someone mad with this thought (Or thoughts) then so be it! Look at what is happening in California and Massachusettes, is this not modern day Sodom and Go-mor'-rah?? Just look at what we have allowed to happen in our land just because we sat back and assumed that our elected leaders would do what was best for us! HA, what a joke, the majority of our elected leaders do what they want, they do what is in their hearts and minds, they do not care about the people, or the nation as a whole, they care about their own greed, their own lusts, they are taking this United States down the road to destruction, and friends we have done passed the point of turning this nation around! You say I am talking gloom, and doom? You Bet I am!!! Read the bible, every nation that has turned it's back on God and become wicked with homosexuality running rampant, all through history has been destroyed by the Almighty!! We are no different!! It's coming, yes it is just around the corner!! Have I offended you Mr. homosexual GOOD! Have I offended you Miss. Lesbian GOOD!! I pray for you, I love you, but I hate your lifestyle, your lifestyle goes against God's Law, and against nature! I will be silent no more about your filthy vile lifestyle, I will speak my mind about you and your kind! Women marrying women, men marrying men, you people are sick! You are committing an abomination before God, you may say you don't believe in God, or that God wouldn't hurt you if he loves you! WRONG!! God is very real!! And God will strike you dead and cast your soul into a firey pit located in a place called hell!! Read your bibles, understand what God is saying in these scriptures here. The bible is true, every word.

Heavenly Father, our Almighty God, Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, our Creator, we stand before you this day Lord with our hearts open to you, we ask you Lord to move into our hearts and lives completely!! God take control of our lives, Father we surrender to you!! We give our lives to you, you guide us, you give us the right words, the right thoughts, the right steps, the right lives! My Lord we only want to do what you would have us do. We realize we are fighting the prince of darkness, and he has launched an attack against your church. In recent months the attack has become intense leading us to believe that something mighty is about to happen! I pray Father you strengthen us every one, God give strength to those that ask for it with a pure heart! Forgive those that ask forgiveness with a pure heart! I ask you my Lord to answer the prayers of those that ask with a pure heart! Lord prepare us for the coming battles, make us stronger in you daily. Allow us to understand that each battle we win only makes us stronger in you! Father I rejoice for the battles I fight, I thank you for your strength to win them, I praise you my God, and I know that in the end all will be fine, through you we win!! Thank you my Saviour, In Jesus holy name I pray, A-men'

Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:1 THE Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

My interpretation:

Revelation 1:1 The revealing, or disclosure of the devine truth of Jesus Christ, that God gave to Jesus, for Jesus to show to his servants things that have to happen soon; that Jesus sent and made know with a sign or word by his angel to his servant John.

Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

My Interpretation:

Revelation 1:2 Who (John) brought forth to reveal an official written account of the word of God, and of the testimony, or public declaration of Jesus Christ, and of everything that he (John) saw.

Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

My interpretation:

Revelation 1:3 Happy, or content is the person that reads, hears, and understands the words of this declaration (Prophecy) of things to come, and does what is written in these declarations (Prophecy), because the return of Jesus Christ is about to happen.

All together from Revelation 1:1 to Revelation 1:3. King James Version:

THE Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Understanding the word of God is understanding God's plan for our lives, and for our eternal destiny. Read God's word with the belief that you are going to understand it, and God will make it known to you one way or the other.

I am planning to go all the way through the book of Revelation in my Thought For Today messages. I will try not to make them too long, and there may be some scriptures that I cannot explain. If I come across scriptures that the meaning is not completely revealed to me then I will just write the scripture from the word of God with no interpretation of it, because I would not ever want to say something that was not correct. There may also be some things that I believe about the book of Revelation that you do not agree with, and that is ok. If you would like to discuss your opinion just e-mail me I will not be offended.

Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

My interpretation:

Revelation 1:4 John is addressing, or speaking to the seven churches in Asia. John speaks grace and peace to the seven churches from God the Father; and from the seven Spirits that are before his throne, these seven Spirits are the seven angels that John is told to write these things to. You will hear more about these angels as we go deeper into the book of Revelation.

Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

My interpretation:

Revelation 1:5 John also speaks grace, and peace to the seven churches in Asia from Jesus Christ the Lord. Jesus Christ is the faithful witness of God the Father, and he is also the first that God the Father ressurected from the dead and the first to recieve the new glorified body, that all children of God will recieve on rapture day. Jesus is also the Prince of the kings of the earth, and he will be taking his rightful place as the King of kings in 1007 years after rapture day. And grace, and peace to Jesus Christ the Lord that loved us so much that he shed his blood so that our sins could be forgiven us.

Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever A-men'.

My interpretation:

Revelation 1:6 Jesus has also made us kings, and priests unto him, and unto his Father which is in heaven, To Jesus be glory and supreme authority, or complete control for ever and ever A-men'.

All together Holy Bible King James version:

The Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, A-men'.

My interpretation:

Revelation 1:7 Listen closely and understand, Jesus is returning in the clouds; and every human on earth will see and know who he is. Even the Roman people at the Vatican who's ancestors pierced his side with a spear, and the Jewish people who's ancestors had him crucified will see him and know who he is. Peoples from all nationalities and all walks of life will scream and cry because of him, because he returned to rapture his people, and many were not prepared to meet him, thus they will cry because they are left behind to face the great tribulation. So be it, A-men'.

The Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

My interpretation:

Revelation 1:8 God said he is Alpha and Omega which is the beginning and the ending, the start and the finish. This being the start and the finish of the old world as we know it. For God is present now, and God has always been present since the beginning of time itself, and God will always be present forever, and ever, God is the Almighty, there is none mighteir than God.

The Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Pat'-mos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

My interpretation:

Revelation 1:9 God's faithful servant John, who is our brother and the brother of every person who has ever confessed Jesus Christ is Lord. Who is also our companion, or partner in our trials and tribulation which test our faith. And, John also who is in the kingdom of Jesus Christ, and has patience to endure the trials, and tribulations through Jesus Christ, was on the isle of Patmos for the purpose of recieving the word of God, and to also recieve the testimony or true statements of Jesus Christ.

The Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

My Interpretation:

Revelation 1:10 John was in the Spirit of God, meaning he was not conscience of his fleshly body but only of the Spirit of God. This was on the Lord's day, although every day is the Lord's day I believe he was talking about the sabbath day. Then John heard behind him a very loud voice, as loud as a trumpet.

The Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Eph'-e-sus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Per'-ga-mos, and unto Thy-a-ti'-ra, and unto Sar'-dis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto La-od-i-ce'-a.

My Interpretation:

Revelation 1:11 This loud voice John heard behind him was God saying I am Alpha and Omega which is the beginning and the ending, the start and the finish. And God also said to John that what he saw he was to write it in a book and he was to send it to the seven churches that are in Asia, and he namjed the churches which are: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.

The Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

My Interpretation:

Revelation 1:12 John said he turned around to see who was speaking to him, and once he had turned, he saw the seven churches that he was to send the book to.

The Holy Bible King James version all together:
