Thought For Today

17-Mar-2004

The Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with, a golden girdle.

My Interpretation:

Revelation 1:13 And there among the seven churches was one that looked like Jesus Christ the Son of man, in fact it was Jesus Christ the Lord of lords, he was clothed with a seamless garment all the way down to his feet, and encircling him just below his chest was a golden girdle, or sash.

The Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eye's were as a flame of fire;

My interpretation:

Revelation 1:14 The hair on his head was white like wool, and as white as snow, his eye's looked as if they were on fire.

The Holy Bible King James version:

Revelation 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

My interpretation:

Revelation 1:5 His feet were shiny like fine brass, they looked like they had been burned in a furnace, and his voice was so loud it sounded like the roar of a lot of fast moving water.

The Holy Bible King James version all together:

And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with, a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eye's were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

My interpretation all together:

And there among the seven churches was one that looked like Jesus Christ the Son of man, in fact it was Jesus Christ the Lord of lords, he was clothed with a seamless garment all the way down to his feet, and encircling him just below his chest was a golden girdle, or sash. The hair on his head was white like wool, and as white as snow, his eye's looked as if they were on fire. His feet were shiny like fine brass, they looked like they had been burned in a furnace, and his voice was so loud it sounded like the roar of a lot of fast moving water.
