The first actual Japanimation I saw was "Akira". It was awesome. The art and animation was so rich and the music was awesome. By seeing "Akira" it really made me want to rent and watch other Japanimations. Most Japanimations have a pretty good story line as well. "Macross Plus" has one of the best story lines that I've ever seen. And its also my all time favorite.
