Sage is our foundation bitch here at Silverado,
where after nearly a decade of "research and developement"
she provided us with our first litter in November of 1997.
So it seems that good things DO come to those who wait!

Sage is EVERYTHING we were looking for in a brood bitch,
sweet and sensible, with a keen desire to work as well as
please.  She is the first Ch get out
of Larry and Marilyn Painter's HCh George, 
who was the ACDCA's first #1 Herding Dog
for the ACDCA in 1993.

She earned her Herding Started title under the 
expert guidence of her breeder Larry Painter, picking
up numerous class placements and awards along the way.
Sage had a very busy 1997 as a real "working mom,"
delivering a litter of seven happy healthy puppies, sired by
the Painters HCh/Ch Rewuri Blue Bogong, as well as 
and winding up as the ACDCAs #8 Herding dog for the year.

Sage will be returning home to continue with herding,
get a start on her obedience career, with a look to
perhaps another foray into motherhead in the future.

The possibilities are endless with this wonderful and versatile redhead!!
