Here at Silverado Australian Cattle Dogs, we believe in the 
"Total Cattle Dog" concept.
What do we mean by that??

Our goal is to produce the ACD that can do it all, a trusted loyal 
companion dog that looks good and works even better!
You'll find our dogs in the herding arena, the breed ring, 
the obedience and agility ring as well as running flyball.
"Temperament" is the key word in all of these endeavors, 
as well as the physical soundness to go with it.
All of our breeding stock is OFA certified, 
have eyes cleared annually by CERF, and are BAER hearing tested.
Puppies are BAER tested before sale as well.

In addition, we believe in doing our best to test our dogs
to ensure they still have the ability to do 
what they were originally bred to do - HERD CATTLE!

illustrating that in addition to her hip, eye and hearing clearances,
she's got herding ability as well.
This is the total package we strive to produce in our litters.

Here at Silverado, we recognize and promote the idea 
that Cattle Dogs are NOT for everyone, 
and do our best to fit the right pup in the right home.
