The first time I ever saw Labyrinth I must have been in the 2nd grade or so. I remember loving it and thinking that David Bowie was hot. (I was like 8!) And many years passed with faint memories of this movie. Until one day my friend Lisa found it on tape (her family recorded like everything) and all my friends and I were like yeah! I remember that movie! That was a cool movie! Let's watch it! And so we did and so I fell in love again. (with the movie this time..not David Bowie) I was so obsessed with this movie in 8th grade that I even died my hair brown to be more like Sarah. I bought the movie and have the whole script memorized. I've even read the book. Which btw tells you things about some of the characters that you never would have known from just watching the movie.
But anyway, for those of you who don't know. Labyrinth is a story about a young girl named Sarah who's little brother Toby get's taken by the Goblins and she has to go through this huge so-called labyrinth to save her brother from the Goblin King who just happens to be in love with her. Of course there's a lot more to the story than that, but if you really are interested enough go rent the movie. It rocks I garentee you.
And for all of you out there who thinks this is a kiddy movie...go right ahead and think that. It really isn't, but, what do I care what you think? :) Thank you drive through.
