About the Gallery SirTenzan's RIFTS Gallery was begun in September of 1996, making this one of the longest lived RIFTS sites on the web. One of the notable features of this site, above other early sites, was that this site did not reprint RIFTS supplementary material printed anywhere on the net. All of our materials are original works created by members of the Red River Valley Gaming Group without exception. In my opinion and the opinion of many fans, it's a high quality sight, with a lot of REFERENCE material that would help to spice up any campaign. The members of our club, the Red River Valley Gaming Group, have been playing RIFTS together for many years. We've gained players and lost players over the course of that time with only two original members still in regular play. We've come up with all sorts of creations of course and to list ALL of them would be impossible as such these here on this site are but a few select choices. The Future of the GalleryOver the course of the last several years that this page has been around it has been reworked several times and updated hundreds of other times. Slowly we've added on and removed or reworked old or out of date materials. An additional factor has come into play with SirTenzan's RIFTS Gallery in recent months that is fairly unique. It is gradually losing material to another source - Palladium Books. Already the Air to Air Combat article that was once prominently and proudly displayed on this site has been removed and now can be found amidst the pages of Rifter 33. You can be assured that more will follow. As I gradually strip down the layers of material found here I will be reworking it and molding it to fit canon timelines and settings while still remaining true to each topics original setting. If they are accepted, you can go out, buy the books, and say - "Hey, I watched this stuff develop and grow into what it is now!" If it is rejected, it's new format will be reintroduced to the web site. Either way, it's a win-win situation. You either have the option of getting the book in its canon form - or you can get it in its unedited and complete format as I intended it. The rub to this announcement though is this; I regret to inform you that all of the titanic netbooks planned for this website have now been cancelled. I hope that you do not interpret this as a sell out. I have long dreamed of writing for Palladium but never felt that my materials were quite up to snuff enough to actually be published. Now that I know that they are, I want to see places like Wa-Daisho, Desert Star, and Kyatashiro and worlds like Dalmir explored by more than just the RRVGG. I want to hear people talking about the secret of Project Archive or the heroes of the Tenzan Elite. While I can share these visions with a few hundred gamers in the span of years of online posts - I can share these stories and exciting settings with thousands of gamers all over the world through publishing them. I hope that you understand and support my decision in this matter. In the future of this site you will see far more materials emerging from my RRVGG cohorts and sneak-peak previews of materials I intend to have published. Plus as I mentioned above, with entire manuscripts being assembled for Palladium, if any are ever rejected - you will still find them here. Game on! - Edward A. May, September 8th, 2006.
