Tatham - Resident of the Anberes Circle

Lost deep within the Anberes Circle, an area between the other five
planets of the system known for it's appetite for spacecraft, lies the
massive, forbidding red surface of Tatham. To this astrogater's know-
ledge, no one has ever been to Tatham. Well... at least no one who has
ever landed on Tatham has ever left again. The most common rumour in
the system is that Tatham is a planet strong with the Dark side. It
just may be so, since even most skeptical give the Anberes Circle a wide
berth and only the greatest fools are willing traverse it's expanse.
Nonetheless, Tatham (see here from one of it's moons), remains much of
a mystery.
Tatham

General:
One of several planetary bodies within the Anberes Circle, Tatham
is a cold, wet thoroughly uninviting planet boasting a thick foggy
atmosphere. Probes have revealed several types of vegetation usually
consistant with large coniferous forests. It is curious to note that
although from deep space, Tatham appears to be a red planet, once the
probe passed through a thick overhead of noxious gases (likely giving
the reddish hue to the giant planet), the surface of Tatham has an
oddly blueish green glow which emanates from a phosporescent moss found
growing on the forest trees. This moss casts and erie bluish-green
glow to the planets thick foggy atmosphere almost completely blocking
out the planets ruddy skies.
Life:
While sentient life is, as of yet, unidentified, probes launched to
Tathams surface report massive lifeform readings. While no lifeforms
ventured near enough to the probe to be positively identified, evidence
gathered points towards the presence of Mynocks, Ghest, and even Wampa
(previously thought to exist only on Hoth.
Sensors also picked up traces of electrical activity on the surface,
possibly indicating the presence of life. Several starships which dared
to venture through the Anberes Circle are thought to have ended up on
Tatham's harsh surface, and it is possible that survivors have survived
there over the decades, raising families. No contact has been possible.
Climate:
Tatham's cold wet climate would likely make a voyage there difficult
and uncomfortable. Liklewise, the swampy ground and thick fog would
also contribute to an unpleasant outing should you find yourself there.
