Chapter 12

Clunk! It was around 2:30 AM and I had fallen out of my bed onto the floor. Some one was pulling me. "Get up…..get up." Whispered some one. I looked up, it was Taylor. "What…..I am really tired Tay." I said. "Just come with me….hurry!" He said. He took me out of the lobby into the rain on the steps of the hotel.. "Lindsay…." He said. "Will you go out with me?" Taylor stuttered. "Yes Taylor!!" I screamed. "Oh my gosh you don’t know how happy I am!!!" He hugged me, and then we kissed for like 5 seconds! It was just like when we kissed in the rain yesterday. God I could scream! Taylor was blushing. We went back to bed.

God, I decided not to wake Jenny up tonight, or should I say morning, knowing she would scream, waking up Mackie. Ugh! That would be a sight to see I thought!

The next morning Taylor, Zac, Ike, and me were at the breakfast table eating cereal. Jenny ran up and hugged me. "Oh my gosh! I am so happy for you!" she said. "Hey Taylor!" She said, and hugged him. I looked at Tay. "I see you told some people." I said. "No….I didn’t even tell anyone…." Taylor said. "I saw on the MTV news, there were girls crying, saying they found out Taylor was going out with a girl name Lindsay." Ike said. "Oh great" I said. "Well, I guess we will find out who our true fans are now." Said Taylor. "Ahhhhhh!" Screamed Zac. "Taylor, you are so lucky to have the greatest, hottest girl in the world!" He shouted. Jenny added in: "And Lindsay, you are so lucky to have the greatest, hottest guy!" Me and Taylors faces were pure red! I went and sat near him. "Ooooooh," said Jessie. "So, I hear you have a girlfriend, Taylor?" "Yeah Jess, why, you want her as yours?" Tay joked. We All laughed. That day we played a gig in a huge shopping center. We needed the piano also, so Jenny offered, cause she knew how to play the piano. We did our usual 6 songs, at the end Taylor ran up and hugged me in front of everyone! I made the mistake of hugging him back!

All the girls looked and gasped with astonishment! I could see during our concert everyone was asking who Jenny was….but I was sure everyone knew who I was! Right then a girl screamed out. "But what about your fans, Taylor?!?! Its not fair!"

"Well," said Taylor. "I guess we will get to find out who our true fans are. You can go ahead and like us for our looks, but please like us for our music also, or else its not even worth it for you guys its like you wont even let me have a girlfriend, more or less how upset you guys got for having Linds in the band in the first place. It’s my life, and I can’t just hold back and forget about someone I really like…" he said, looking a little upset.

"You guys….." I cut in. "This is Taylor Hanson…..he’s a regular guy….they all are. Guess what…..me and Taylor even got in like 2 or 3 fights!" I continued. Jenny took my place where I left off. "Gavin Rossdale is going out with Gwen……" she continued. "And he still has a lot of fans too! I am Lins’ best friend and I love Taylor more than she did…." She said jokingly. "but I am happy for her!"

"its not like we are gonna get married!" said Taylor. "You can still keep your hopes high with me and Ike!!" Zac screamed! "Yeah…" said Ike. "Its just kiddie love….it wont last too long, trust me!" I went over to Taylor, and whispered to him, Ike, and Zac. They ran out into the audience, hugged lots of the girls and even kissed them on the cheeks! They were screaming, a lot of them even fainted! "See?!?!" I yelled. "Hanson, even Taylor, still loves you all, and will never forget you and all you’ve done for them!" We decided to sing I will come to you for one last song after they had come back. The girls were crying, swaying their arms and yelling "We love Hanson! We love Hanson!" I was so happy that day…..the happiest day of my life! That night we flew back to Tulsa. We were again, very tired. Jenny had become the piano player for the time being. I loved it sooooo much! I kissed Taylor and went to sleep. The next day we went rollerblading, all of us! There was a lake near by, of course, Zac got the Idea of pushing Isaac in! And I just had to push Taylor in! Splashing and splishing!

"I love you guys so much!" I yelled. "We all hugged each other. "We love you guys too!!" said Zac!
