Taylor stormed out of the house, crying. He was headed for the treehouse.I ran after him, it was pretty obvious.
"Taylor wait!" I yelled.
He stopped and turned around. "Wait? Why would I wait when I just saw my girlfriend kissing my younger brother, whos also my best friend?!" He turned around and ran up the steps to the tree house.
I followed him again. When I got up to the treehouse, I yelled. "Jordan Taylor Hanson! Listen to me!"
He stayed turned around, but I knew he would listen to me. "Zac just wanted to know about stuff...like sex and girls and stuff..."
"Oh yeah, and how does that explain you kissing him?!"
"He wanted to know how it felt to kiss a girl. It was really just a peck. We don't have any feelings for each other."
"Well why didn't he come to me?" He asked, still turned around.
"Because he was too embarressed Taylor, and plus he wanted to know how it felt to kiss a girl. You couldn't have shown him that."
He stayed turned around.
"Look Taylor, I'm really sorry, I just wanted to help Zac out. Zac is like my brother and --"
Taylor turned around and interupted me. "I love you Lindsay."
"Taylor, I love you too, and I don;t know what it would be like to live without you, because I have never loved someone as much as you.."
Tay then at that instance placed his finger agasin't my lips. He wrapped his arms around me and I did the same to him. We were over with making up, and were in the begining of making out. He placed his lips again't mine. My stomach almost crumbled into 1,000 pieces. I loved him so much, and this feeling I got with him was something so deep it went deeper than in my heart.
I finally pulled away. "Taylor, we better go talk to Zac."
I helped him up and walked into the house.
"Zac, I want to apologize for..." Zac stopped him "No, I want to aplogize to you. I guess I'm not grown up enough to kiss a girl yet like you and Ike, but I just wanted to see what it was like." Taylor then said, "I totally understand you and now that Linds explained the most of it to me, I just want to put it behind us now." This was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen!! Zac extended his hand.
"Brothers?" Tay took his hand attempted to shake it and it turnes into a hug and Tay said "Best Brothers!" I thought I was going to cry. I got up and felt the need to join the big hug. I then slumped down on Ike's bed trying to be comfortable. Zac made an effort to dive in my lap, but missed when I
pushed him away. I didn't really want to spend the night in the tree house like we did every night in the summer, so we said our goodbyes and
planned on going rollerblading at Dawn. I went to my room, and decided to watch TV. MTV usually had good videos late at night so I was flipping
through until my TV screen was greeted by three girly looking guys playing instruments singing in front of a giant pansy. We had always made fun of that. When the video ended, I staggered up the stairs and got into bed. I looked out the hallway to see if Tay's door was open.
But the door was shut.
The next morning I awoke to someone shaking me. "What!" I yelled as I leaned up. It was 7:00 am
and Taylor was shaking me.
"Good Morning Sleeping Beauty!" I looked at him and then flew back down and covered my head with my pillow.
"Go away!" I said playfully.
"Fine then, call me when you get up."
I opened my eyes again.
"I'll be at the park in an hour, okay Tay?"
He smiled "Okay, and Linds?"
I leaned over "huh."
He said "clean your room!"
I threw my pillow at him and he left the room. "Talk about a rude awakening" I said to myself, joking.
An hour later I bladed down to the park and
saw Zac. I went over to him and he said "Hey Baby" in his Rico Suave voice. I looked over at this sand box. A bunch od pubescent girls were
smiling and giggling at Zac. "What can I say? The chics dig me!" I shoved him. "Whatever, hey where's Tay?" He looked around, "Over by the
swings.... with that girl." I looked over "Who is that girl?" He said to
me "I don't know but they've been talking for about a half an hour!" I skated over to the swings and tried to show off to the girl by doing a spin on the cement and landed in Tay's lap.
"Hi! Rise and Shine finally!" he was laughing.
"So, Tay, aren't you going to introduce me to your friend?" The girl looked at me "I'm Missy" She was obviously mad that I was sitting on the one and only Taylor Hanson's lap but that fact
that she was jealous, it made me feel good.
"Hey, Missy, didn't you go to CedarWood middle school last year?" She obviously didn't like me.
"Yeah" she mumbled. "So Taylor maybe I'll see you at the party" She said as she got up to leave.He acted like I didn't notice and he said "Yeah, I'll be there!"
I got off his lap and sat where the girl had been
sitting. "Who was that Taylor?"
"Oh, Missy." It was like he was daydreaming. "She was nice wasn't she!" he said with a smile on his face.
"Taylor please, she is known as one out of the 3 biggest sluts at that school!"
He shook his head "No, I thought she was nice." I dragged him up.
"Your weird" I said as I playfully punched him in the arm. I saw Ike coming towards us. "IKEYPOO!!!!!" I yelled loud enough for the whole
park to hear. He gave me a look.
Ike asked me, "Hey, weren't you wearing blue?"
"No, what are you talking about?"
He said, "I swear, just 20 minutes ago, when Tay hugged you and kissed you on the cheek, you were wearing blue."
I looked at him and Tay "What do you mean when I was kissing Tay? I haven't even been here for 5 minutes!" I said.
"Taylor, that Missy girl was wearing blue! What is going on here!"
He acted like he didn't know what I was talking about but I could see it in his eyes.
"Taylor, did you kiss Missy?"
He said to me "No!...Well....umm...sort of, I mean
I didn't!" I was about to cry.
"Until, you're ready to tell me the truth, stay away from me!" I skated off in a jealous rage and went
straight to our house. I turned back and I saw Tay punch Ike in the arm.
How could he! He said he loved me. After all that had happened today I feel this extreme hatred towards Taylor. Why was I getting so upset about this stupid girl. Well I'll tell you why, because Taylor was kissing her and then just this morning he said he loved me. Oh, how i thought I loved him...I still do love him, but why? Time will have to untangle this, I can't. This is too hard a knot for me to untie.
