Dogs and cats (our faithful friends and companions), are being raised
in the most horrendous conditions just to wind up being tortured to death and
eaten!
This may not be the
happiest place on the WWW, but I think the horrifying dog farming trade in Asian
countries needs to be publicized as much as possible, until something is done to stop it.
There are
many links on this page with more information on this brutality. If you go to them, please be aware of the terrifying
pictures.
There are warnings on these pages
before you actually go to the pictures. If you are brave enough to take a look, try to
avoid the dead or dying (being tortured) animals, and instead look at the ones that
are looking on in horror and confusion! It is one of the saddest things I have
ever seen. Please do check out some of the sites. And if you do nothing else, at
least be informed of the situation. Of course, I hope that you will feel just as
disgusted as I do and that you will do whatever you can to help this brutal practice come
to an end. Tell people, sign petitions, write letters, whatever....BUT DO
SOMETHING! Be a voice for the voiceless. They have no voice, they have no
choice, the choice is ours. I hope you choose to help stop cruelty.

| {{{{{{{
PERSONAL NOTE : }}}}}}} I have several other animal rights pages and I want to
say something, to those who may decide to email me or sign my guestbook disapproving
of my views; or because they wonder why, with all the problems that plague the human
world, I waste my time worrying about the plight of animals. (I have had several very
nasty notes regarding my feelings.) So, before those who think that I am wasting my
time, (and life), worrying about what they may think worthless, decide to give me a piece
of their minds, let me list a few other things that I am concerned about: |
| 1. the treatment of children. |
| 2. the treatment of the
elderly. |
| 3. the problem of spousal
abuse. |
| 4. our "out of
control" government. |
| 5. losing our Constitutional Rights. |
| 6. religion being more important
than faith. |
| 7. father's rights. |
| 8. overly "drunk with
power" cops. |
| 9. the propaganda from the
media. |
| 10. the future of the United States of America. |
NO, I am not some
sob-sister who feels sorry for everybody and everything, and takes up for every
cause.
No way!
I believe people should be responsible for themselves
and everything they do. I think families should take care of their own. I believe there
should be no income tax, just use taxes. But, since we will never get the
government to stop taking our money just because we make it, there should be a flat
tax and everyone should pay the same percent of their income, not 15% to 35% of those with
no deductions or children with which to get the earned income credit, and then 0% for the
ones who could afford to pay tax, but have so many decuctions or tax shelters that they
never have to.
I do as much for the other problems as I do for the animals. Well,
maybe not quite as much, because I feel there are far more agencies and people concerned
for "people problems", than for animal problems. But, I do something!
My motto is, "If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the
problem!"
|
| Oh yeah, one more thing to those who think I am some
fanatical "animal freak", or whatever; I do not care what you think of me.
I will never stop being active in trying to right the wrongs of
the world and to ease suffering wherever and whenever I possibly can. So, if you do take
the time and effort to contact me, you will be wasting your time. But if you must vent
your anger on me (instead of something more important), I have big shoulders and I can
take it, it will do nothing to change me, and it will make you look like an idiot! |
