FEAR, WORRY, AND FAITH

"Be strong and courageous, because you will lead this people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. Be strong and very courageous." (Joshua 6:7)

"Don't be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Phillippians 4:4-6)

"Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame." (Romans 10:11)

PERSECUTION AND PERSERVERANCE

"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad for great is your reward in Heaven, for in the same way, they persecuted the prophets who were before you." (Matthew 5:11-12)

"If you're insulted because of the name of Christ, you're blessed for the spirit of Glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name." (1 Peter 4:13-16)

"If you suffer, it should not be as a criminal. Howevere, if you suffer as a Christian, don't be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. Those who suffer according to God's Will should committ themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good." (1 Peter 4:15-19)

"If you suffer for doing good and endure it, this is commendable to God. To this you were called because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example that you should follow in His steps." (1 Peter 2:20-21)

"Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him." (James 1:12)

LONLINESS

"Jesus cried out in a loud voice, 'My God My God, why have you forsaken me?!" (Mark 15:34)

"At first, no one came to my defense, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them, but the Lord stood by my side and gave me strength." (2 Timothy 4:16)

PRAYER

"When you pray, go into your room and prayer to your Father who is unseen. And when you pray, do not keep babbling like the pagans who think they'll be heard because of their many words. Don't be like them, for your Father in Heaven knows what you need before you ask Him." (Matthew 6:6-8)

"If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God who gives generously to all without finding fault and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt." (James 1:5-7)

"I urge you, that all prayers, intersessions, thanksgivings, and requests be made for everyone, for kings and all of those in authority, that we may live peacefully and quietly in all goodness and Holiness.' (1 Timothy 2:1)

COMPASSION AND FORGIVNESS

WITNESSING

"Pray that I may proclaim it clearly as I should. Be careful in the way you act towards outsiders; make the most out of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone." (Colossians 4:4-6)

"Always be prepared to give an answer to anyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope that you ave. Do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.' (1 Peter 3: 15-16)

"Preach the word, be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage, with great patience and careful instruction.' (2 Timothy 4:2)
