Translator's notes:   The humble verb tateru (to be erect) caused quite a stir when, in the lyrics of Vanilla, Gackt wrote, nagai tsume o taterareta boku  (your long nails got me erect). So, er, I should probably tell you that tateru also appears, with the same, er, meaning, in this song, in the line:  shiitsu no naka de boku no hikigane ni tsume o tateteiru.  Literally, shiitsu no naka de (in the sheets) boku no hikiganeni (at my trigger) tsume o tateteiru (a [finger] nail is standing [erect]).  However, the word tateteiru (erect) also links to (blush) Gackt's trigger.  Think of a nail resting against, er, an erect trigger that will "go off" at any moment.  The chorus, mou . . . gaman dekinai (I can't be patient any longer), also refers back to this rather incredible line.

(Gackt seems to really, really like long nails-- no wonder he did a Christmas special with Hamasaki Ayumi). ^_-

Further notes:  This is a song about being on the edge.  The chorus is mou . . . gaman dekinai (I can't be patient any longer), and the Japanese is a little more forceful than the English, with a sense of "that's the last straw-- I've had it," especially considering the way Gackt sings the words.  In this song, these words have a primarily sexual connotation, "I can't hold back any longer," but there is a larger, darker thought of-- what will happen when he finally snaps?  There are a lot of lyrics in this song involving madness, for example, "Kuruwarete..." ("Drive me wild . . .") could also be translated as, "Drive me mad/crazy. . . "  and dareka ni muchuu (you're absorbed in someone) can also also mean you're obsessed with/mad about someone.  The word saseru/sasenai (force/don't let) is repeated three times.   All of this and more helps build the impression of a person pushed right to the brink and there finding out exactly what they are capable of doing.

On the title:  Well, no one except Gackt knows what the awesome title of this song means.  I can't even speculate.  In an interview, Gackt said that if you said papa lapped a pap lopped to an American, they would be able to understand it.  (But ironically, he said this only days after many Americans, Singaporeans, Australians, Malaysians, Chinese, English, New Zealanders, Thai and the people of many other nations gathered together on the Gackt mailing list to discuss exactly how much they did not understand this title).
