I am Jewel.
The Goddess of Life in the world known as Merentha. I bring balance to the Dragon God, the God of Chaos. This is the story of the hatchlings. I awoke from my slumber one dewy morning, far deep in the forest that few have ventured to. The force from which I draw all life from, spoke to my spirit, and asked me to take mortal form. I was compelled to travel the seas of mankind, to a new place, shrouded in mist. This place of all dragons. It was then I was forced to take Dragon form - to enter this dark island. All the forces of nature, Water, Air, Earth, Fire, had all been harnessed, divided, and bought to separate places within the islands bowels.
Now dragons are normally ill bred breeds. Thirst for power and riches drive them to slaughter an innocent baby dragon and manipulate the forces of the world in order to steal the body. Once they are in thier new form the wickedness that spurts forth from them taints my world. Power corrupts. This sanctuary made just for these corpse stealing demons turned my stomach.
I ran from this evil place! In my haste, I stumbled. It was then I saw the nest. It was then I understood why I was driven to this place. Six eggs I protectively took from the nest, and hid from the other immortals.
I had six.
The eggs incubation period was unknown to me. It is very hard to keep secrets from all the gods. Destiny, fate, whatever drives life, came into play. I have five eggs. My memory tells me I only ever had five. I can see through the evilness though. There were truely *Six eggs*. That which is the most powerful of the forces has been taken away.
I am not to see what this force is.
Yet.
The five hatchlings, I have kept warm and well loved. I give the world five new lives.
The forces known to me are Ice, Fire, Water, Air, Earth!
