Directly above, you can see a photo of Tripod, with one of his father Ziggy at the right. Tripod looks a lot like his father in some ways; both are long-haired "teddy bear" hamsters, and both are black and white (or maybe more like gray and white). But the two of them have some very different facial characteristics. You will notice comparing these two pictures that Ziggy's face is much wider, for example.
And to the left is another picture of Ziggy peeking out over the top of a large yellow mug. You will notice that a small piece of his right ear is bit off. His second wife (and Tripod's step-mother), Buffy, did that in a little fight.
