Adjectives and Adverbs

Adjectives in general end in -i, while adverbs end in -iu. In general, modifiers preceed the words they affect, but personal taste and the need for emphasis may change this rule slightly.

But:
jola lairi-"a maiden all forlorn," lit. "a virgin unhappy"

The comparative and superlative may be used with either adjectives or adverbs. These are simply abbreviated versions of the words sage(more) and sape(most), used as suffixes.
