Who is Rainbow Brite, you might ask? Well, I'll tell you who she is! Rainbow Brite, and her friends the color kids (Red Butler, Lala Orange, Canary Yellow, Pattie O'Green, Buddy Blue, Indigo, and Shy Violet) help bring color to the whole world. How do they do this you might ask, well, in Rainbow Land, There are little, cheerful, fuzzy people called sprites. The sprites work in mines and Prism Ponds to find color crystals, which are made into star sprinkles.
It is the color sprinkles which bring color, but is Rainbow Brite and the color kids that sprinkle the star sprinkles throughout the world.
Now, I can't give you a very detailed description of what goes on in Rainbow Land, so I am going to let someone who can.
Hi, I'm Rainbow Brite, but my friends just call me Rainbow. I'm going to tell you about what goes on in Rainbow Land, and how my friends and I spread color throughout the world.
hmm, well, first I should give you a tour of Rainbow Land.

Okay, I guess I should tell you some more stuff. Well, lets see. Maybe I should tell you how Rainbow Land started. Okay, once there was a time when Rainbow Land didn't exist. Back then I was just a little girl named Wisp. The color kids were scattered across the land, and everything was dismal. Murky Dismal and his side-kick, Lurky, liked it that way, but I didn't. I was sent on a quest to find the Spirit of Light. What I found was a horse named Starlite, and a white sprite named Twink. Then I was ready to find the Spirit of Light. What I then found was Red Butler. Okay, then I was determined to find was the Spirit of Light. What I found was a little baby. Starlite, Twink, the baby, and I eventually found all the color kids. It was then, at the end of our journey, that we had to battle the dark. It turned out that the baby was the Spirit of Light, and with her, and the color kids, we faught off the dark, and Rainbow Land and Rainbow Brite (me) were born.
Now after Rainbow Land was created, It has been up to the color kids, the sprites, my horse Starlite, and me to bring color to the world. Like I said earlier, the sprites mine the color crystals, which get turned into star sprinkles. All my friends, the color kids, get star sprinkles of their own color, while I get all colors. We then take the star sprinkles to Earth, and spread them, bringing beautiful color to everyone.
You might be wondering how we get to earth, well, I'll tell you. I have a magical color belt. when I press the magical star on it, a rainbow appears. Then starlite, my beautiful horse, takes me, and often my friends, over the rainbow.
The color kids and I have had many challenges. The biggest problem we have can be summed up in three words: Murky and Lurky. Murky hates color, and tries his very best to stop me from giving color to the world. He has tried to capture me, hurt me, and stop me many times. He lives in a place called The Pits.
My friends and I have had many other problems too, though. Everything from evil rainbows, to Evil Princesses trying to steal Spectra (the earth's light source) along with my color belt, but somehow, the color kids and I always manage to overcome evil. So, I guess that's all I really have to tell you, so I'll give you back to Amber, this page's host.

Hi, my name is Amber, and I'm 15 years old. One day I was cleaning out my closet, and I happened to stumble apon my old Rainbow Brite doll. I started thinking about how much I loved Rainbow Brite when I was little. I had many of the toys (Rainbow Brite, Patty O'Green, Red Butler, Starlite, a doll sleeping bag, even a car!). I had five Rainbow Brite books including: Rainbow Brite and the Big Color Mix-Up, Rainbow Brite: Twink's Magic Carpet Rided, , Rainbow Brite: Happy Birthday Buddy Blue, and Rainbow Brite and the Brook Meadow Dear. I owned one movie (though I don't remember what it was called, but there was an evil princess that was trying to steal Spectra and Rainbow Brite's color belt)but I lost it in the move, arhg!!! and I had seen another many time (I don't remember what that was named, either, but it was about how Rainbow land started). I think there was a TV show, but I'm not sure, because I was just starting to get into Rainbow Brite, when it started going out of style. Well, I hope you have liked this site, I enjoyed making it.
