After the show the LilsBoys caught up with Scott Parker and his nemesis Drew McDonald, here is what they had to say about themselves:

Solid Gold Scott Parker

The Sun: Hi Scott. What are your statistics then?

Scott: I am 6 foot 1 and weigh in at 215 pounds.

The Sun: Are you a heel (bad guy) or a face (good guy)?

Scott: I am a nice good guy. With blonde hair and blue eyes I couldn’t be anything else. The only top heel with my look was Mr. Perfect with his arrogant act; he was one of my heroes and if I was to turn heel that is what I would do.

The Sun: Who were your wrestling heroes growing up?

Scott: The first superstar that made me start watching wrestling was the Ultimate Warrior. I saw him against Rick Rude and man what a performance, I didn’t realise until many years later that it was Rude who made Warrior look good.

The Sun: Who is your favourite current WWF star?

Scott: Chris Benoit is my favourite as he makes everything look so real.

The Sun: What has been your biggest ever match?

Scott: Without doubt Steve Corino tonight. Before that I would say Alex Shane at WrestleXpress.

The Sun: What was it like to fight the former ECW and NWA champion?

Scott: It was a pleasure, it was excellent and he was really easy to work with.

The Sun: When did you find out that you would be main eventing tonight’s show?

Scott: Elizar (the booker) phoned me up and said you’ll be fighting against Steve Corino and I was like “wow”! It was not only that I was fighting an American champion but also that they had the confidence in me to do that kind of match.

The Sun: Tonight you did a dive over the turnbuckle, is that your trademark move and what is it called?

Scott: I guess that is my trademark now, I invented it mucking about during training. Someone suggested it, and if someone suggests something I will usually try it. On the right day I can do a running frog splash over the top turnbuckle, if there was enough room on the outside (of the ring) then you could see me try it out. I haven’t got a name for this move yet. My finisher is like Bob Holly’s ‘Falcon Arrow’, I call it the ‘Golden Arrow’.

The Sun: Finally how long have you been in the business?

Scott: I am 27 and have been in the business for four years.

The Highlander  Drew McDonald

The Sun: Hi Drew, can you tell us a bit about yourself?

Drew: I am 6 foot 1 and 320 pounds. I have been wrestling professionally now for about nineteen years and I have no time at all for the new school wrestlers. They are all arrogant little upstarts. Along with Dino Scarlo we aim to injure as many of these as we can, in my 19 years in the business I have crippled more people than polio!

The Sun: Who is the biggest opponent you have ever fought?

Drew: Giant Haystacks probably; he broke my ribs. I’d been wrestling about a month when he did that.

The Sun: Who were your wrestling heroes growing up?

Drew: Nobody! I was never interested in professional wrestling. A friend of mine ran a school for wayward boys and girls. He put on a wrestling show and asked me to get involved, that was my first match. I took on Wild Angus who was 6 foot 11, and he beat the living daylights out of me.

The Sun: Are there any stars you admire over in America?

Drew: Absolutely nobody!

The Sun: Who is your favourite opponent to work with?

Drew: I would say Robbie Brookside.

The Sun: Finally can you tell us a bit about your highlander gimmick?

Drew: That is not a gimmick. I am a highlander, I come from Perth in Scotland. I just don’t wear the kilt as it makes me look like a giant transvestite.
