Tender Mercies is a progressive Southern Gospel music ministry headquartered in the Tyler, Texas area. They are a group of born again Christians with a deep desire to serve their Savior and share their testimonies and music with everyone. Their backgrounds are varied. Their common bond is Jesus Christ, His blood, His resurrection, and His mercy. Their ultimate goal is not fame or fortune, rather they want to be remembered as a group that genuinely loves the Lord, strives to seek His will, and desires to see people saved.
The group has been bringing their unique style of Christian music and personal testimonies to audiences throughout East Texas and surrounding states for many years. They have performed extensively throughout Texas and surrounding states appearing with many major Southern Gospel artists such as The Cathedrals, The Kingsmen, The Bishops, Gold City and The Nelons. In the summer of 2008 the group came out of retirement and reorganized as a female trio once again. The group consists of Elizabeth Armstrong of Tyler, TX, Nancy Crim of Whitehouse, TX, Melinda McFarlin of Tyler, TX and manager, David Crim.
