Welcome to the SSP Class of 1997 page. This page is here to serve as a way for the 1997 SSPers to keep in touch, as well as to provide stories and experiences of SSP Alumni to prospective SSPers, to let them get an idea about the social side of The Thacher School's Summer Science Program!

We have collected here stories from the SSP alums of 1997. If yours isn't listed here, feel free to e-mail it to me. We have also some pictures from the life at SSP, everything ranging from the group picture at Mt. Wilson Observatory to Dave and Jeff on Mars, to Josh sleeping on the beach, it's all here.

For the people interested in the Summer Science Program check out the about section, where some of the 1997 SSPiers have shared their initial fears, general feelings and overall reaction to the program. Also make sure to read some of the stories to sense the social life on the Thacher campus during the months of the program.
