Staffordshire Dog

The Staffordshire dog pictured below, may have been made somewhere between 1840-1880. We do not guarantee that it is authentic, but do believe that it is. We believe that it was made in England...probably Staffordshire. The dog stands just over 10" tall, is about 7" wide and about 5" "thick". It does have the expected hole in the back. It does not have a maker's mark anywhere. It is in excellent condition as you may observe.

Note the hairline cracks on the bottom. There have not been any attempts at repairs of any kind. If you are interested in making an offer, or, would like additional information, please contact us.
