Why hang ordinary, plain towels when your bath can be accessorized with towels with flair? Just by adding small, inexpensive touches, you can completely change the look of your linens not to mention the room. Here are a few examples. What unusual touches have you done to your towels to add your own personal style? I'd love to hear your ideas.
Romantic...
Just by adding a short piece of garland that features pretty flowers and greenery, you can change the entire look of plain solid towels. Perhaps your bathroom has a garden theme. Try adding ivy garland intertwined with a ribbon. On the ends of the ribbon, glue tiny craft store terra cotta pots.
Classical...
A plain, solid black towel has been paired with a decorative hand towel, and finished with an inexpensive silk tassel and cording. The handtowels could easily be changed to reflect holidays. Just by adding a red tassle and a bit of greenery, your bath will take on a Christmas feel.
Country...
Here, a small country painted wood garland has been wrapped around the towel grouping. Garlands such as these can be purchased or painted inexpensively, and can reflect the theme of the bathroom. Instead of several small painted figures, you might sunbstitute a larger figure, such as a single birdhouse. attach to wire, add some small homespun bows and wire around the towel ensemble.
