My Husband Even Collects...

A few glasses from my husband's collection of European beer glasses are displayed inside this corner cabinet. German nutcrackers and smokers are added for color.

Another View...

Since these pictures were taken, I am proud to say that the horrid "orange" (oh my!) velvet chairs have been recovered with a beautiful tapestry print fabric. The "English Ale" pub sign and the "St Andrews Golf Club" are both England flea market finds. The "English Ale" sign is painted on an authentic beer keg barrel lid. The old wood golf clubs that frame the lithograph of St Andrews Golf Club were purchased in Scotland at a thrift store. My husband golfed, I shopped. LOL

The Royal Family Pics...

Although the quality of this pic does not reflect it, the beautiful antique mahogany mirror makes a wonderful juxtaposition behind the mahogany Russian Bar Box. I opted to lean the mirror rather than mount it. An antique brass candelabra brings out the gold in the box and the picture frames. Although there are several different styles and colors of picture frames, the common denominator that ties them together is that they are all black and white pictures. This vignette sits atop an English barley-twist gateleg table.
