Iolaus leaned down to hug Sinn, then went to Hercules, who was already heading their way. She watched in worry as they spoke..absent-mindedly swirling her mudslide around in the glass. ~~Just what in Hades is going on?~~ she thought. ~~First Aprhodite, now this. If this keeps up, no one will ever come to our parties again.~~ She frowned.
"Hey Sinn!"...Joxer came bounding up, Xena and Gabrielle not far behind.
"Hi Joxer.." she said somewhat weakly.
"Hey! Cheer up! You look like somebody died!"
Sinn took a swig of her drink and frowned again. "Well, the way Ares took Amethysta out of here in a rage..let's hope not..."
"Ares? Ah, his bark is worse than his bite, right Xena?" Joxer turned to the Warrior Princess, who merely raised a questioning eyebrow. "Oh, right..the Furies thing.." he gulped.
Gabrielle rolled her eyes and sat down next to Sinn, Xena sitting on the other side. Joxer didn't sit, rather he kept walking in circles around the table..trying to juggle little horseshoes.
Xena patted Sinns hand. "I know this isn't how you expected your first Temple party to go, but everything will turn out okay."
Sinn managed a smile for her friend. "I hope so..there's the Ares, Hera, and Amethysta thing..and Ped is gone too!"
Xena and Gabrielle shared a look she couldn't read. "Like Xena says, I'm sure it'll all be fixed." Gabrielle leaned over and hugged her.
Sinn saw Jenni nearby and motioned for her to come over. Jenni made her way through some Priestesses and their companions...you could sense the tension in the room, as everyone waited for Ares to return. Jenni sighed as she reached the table, and plopped down in the chair next to Gabrielle.
"Well, someone else is missing.." she said.
"Who?!"..they all looked at her..even Joxer.
"Salmoneous..he was over by the buffet table last I saw him, and now he's gone!"
