Notes:

The Vikings are looking vastly improved this year. That is, until they run into the big, bad Pack. The Saints keep telling us how good they are. Unfortunately, the NFL isn't scored according to an Associated Press poll. Once again, the Chargers are a quality team who's still a LONG way from being a champion. There's the Vinny Testaverde we all know and love! The Jets finally gained a little respectability in the offensive department. Too bad it was against the mighty arm of Dan Marino and the football machine that is Jimmy Johnson. All of the Patriot's worries seem subdued after a shutout thrashing of the Cards. Of course, everyone's worries seem subdued after a game against the Cards. The Lions are 1 player away from being 3-0 and a serious threat. That 1 player was Chris Spielmann. The Magic Harbaugh Express pulls into big "D" and shoves it up their bunghole!! Way to go, Colts! There is no truth to the rumors that the Raiders are moving Jerry Ball to fullback. Kansas City always looks pretty good in the REGULAR season. People in the barbecue capital of the world are already holding their breath. The Hogs take another step towards respectability (because anybody who's anybody beats up on the Giants). The Bucs look better but it still looks like a long season for Dungy. I knew that Jim Kelly and Co. would have their troubles in the Steel City but 4 interceptions?! Come on, Jim. Pick it up and brush it off. The Cowboys are in your future.
