The Meaning of Bratpack

The word bra-tap-ack dates back many centuries when the original group of young men gathered to trade stories of merryment and rub oils into each others faces.  The construct of the word comes from three words, Bra symbolising the embodyment of woman.  Ancient bratpackers would worship women, usually from afar and one day the paths of women and bratpacker would cross with disasterous consequeces(see the story of  Wally). Tap has derided from the ancient tap dancing that the original bratpackers would do on sheets of slate.  Bratpackers have always been famous for there dancing through the early part of this century with the chitterbug through the hand jive, the mashed potato, the disco mover and the turny round slowly with your girlfriend dance.  John Travolta was a famous Bratpack dancer encompassing many statements into his dancing.  Ack is the final part of the word, its origins are somewhat muddled but many believe it comes from the ceremonial clearing off the throat.  In order to purify their lungs and throat bratpackers would inhale smoke from burning weeds.  This would cause coughing and choking which would bring up evil spirits from there lungs in the form of black tar.  Blood was also sometimes brought up.  The sound that this made was that of the word ack.  That is the origins of the word the following are a collection of tales which have shaped the life of bratpackers worldwide.

The Tale of Wally

The Wally was a young traveler who lived in Tudor England when courting was strictly controlled and monitored by the elders.  Wally a strapping young man with curly locks would smile and tease the ladies with his evasive tactics.  One day after purifying his lungs, he began to quench his thirst with friends at the local ale house one of his friends a young boy by the name of Green suggested that they go out to the fields where the ladies would pick cherries for their leisure and to earn a penny.  Wally agreed and the two set off for the fields hand in hand skipping down the road.  Before they reached the field they came across several ale houses, they stopped at each and consumed more ale.  Eventually they reached the field and Wally began talking to the ladies, however Green with all the impatience of youth wanted things to move at a slightly faster pace.  Because of this he slipped away and began to crawl behind the cherry trees slowly like a tiger right up behind one of the young ladies.  As she continued picking he coiled himself like a cobra and sprang at her grabbing her from behind. At this point a band of wandering minstrels came past playing a tuneful ditty.  Green began to gyrate his pelvis in motion with music and as he grappled for more she screamed for her friend but by this time Wally had her in a head lock and was wrestling her to the ground.  In the ensuing combat Green and the young lady crashed to the ground falling on the basket where the lady was collecting her cherries.  Green crashed onto the basket and popped the girls cherries.  At this point Green and Wally were chased out of the field by a large woman who slapped them to make them move quicker.  To this day large women now protect their own by slapping any men that invade their territory, these women are called Slappers.  Wally and Green were expected to be told to leave the village instead the woman gave this punishment.  "As punishment for popping these girls cherries, the women of this country will never speak to you and your kind again".  And do you know what, they never did.
