Thematic   Play   Activity   Planning   for   Preschoolers

Planning activities for your Family Day Care, Child Care Center, Pre-school, Nursery, or Sunday School can be as easy as 1-2-3-, when you plan around a theme. When you use constant esteem building activities, you will empower not only the child, but yourself as well! You will feel great about what you are doing with your students and they, in turn will feel good about who they are inside! We will show you how to use Thematic Play with:

MUSIC, CREATIVE PROJECTS, NUTRITIOUS SNACKS AND MEALS, LITERATURE, DRAMATIC PLAY, WHOLE LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT, SMALL MOTOR SKILLS, GROSS MOTOR SKILLS, FIELD TRIP IDEAS, CULTURAL AWARENESS, SCIENCE AND NATURE, AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

By using a program that is exciting, interesting and fun, you will have confident, happy and enthusiastic children to work and play with!

The common thread that holds strong when Thematic Play is used, is the constant affirmation that the child is truly loved and is respected. When you take the time and effort to provide the children you care for with a motivating program, you make the children feel important. And when the children feel special, you start to look at yourself as a meaningful and professional child care provider.

Each month you can develop a program with Thematic Play for:

PROJECT IDEAS, RECIPES, MATERIALS LIST, SUGGESTIONS FOR READING, PARENT NEWSLETTER FINGERPLAYS AND SONGS

Some examples of themes to use:

SHAPES AND SIZES, FIRE SAFETY, MOTHER NATURE, PEOPLE FROM AROUND THE WORLD, ALL ABOUT ME, PARADE OF COLORS, TRANSPORTATION, ON THE WILD SIDE
