Artist's Statement

The basis of all my work is "Collage", from printmaking (Collagraph) to large media paintings. I paint for self expression using colour and texture to portray my reactions to people, events, family and life as I live it.

Faces are one of the main subjects that I like to build, the mirrors to our soul. By using a multitude of various materials I capture the humour, character and emotion in those special moments in life that we all have. My collaged faces make people smile and I like that.
