when a good old song plays on the radio unexpectedly;
when someone pronounces my surname correctly
the first time!; fresh clean laundrey;
feel-good movies, as well as completely disturbing ones;
yummy candles; flowers (esp. roses and sunflowers);
springtime in the Southeast US, with the dogwoods and azaleas
and daffodils blooming; Waffle House food; the smell of
magnolia blossoms; snow and how quiet the world becomes
ASPIRATIONS:
Someday, after the power structure
of our society and perhaps other industrialized
ones has finally become more representative
and everyone can marry
anyone they want regardless of gender/sex and
non-straights can be regarded as "normal" by at
least the government and women aren't expected to
conform to dumb standards that ultimately make them
sex objects and can get paid and promoted as much
as men do and still be respected and after our society
is simply more flexible for all of its inhabitants
rather than for just those who are in power...
i hope to pursue a career as a professional wine taster
but still have enough spare time to experiment with
vegetarian recipes from time to time.
(well, not really, but, you know)
